Me alegre mucho.

So... that's about my internship.

This weekend, I am going to León for a vacation trip that I won from Lottery last Christmas dinner. The hotel is built inside a monastry. I can't wait to be there. And  on Monday, we are going to play volleyball with the people from the office and afterwards, SALIMOS- going out for Magali's birthday.

Then on Thursday my internship will finish and I am gong to make spring rolls and dumplings for my farewell's food. (there is a tradition that every intern makes a dish of his/her country before they leave).

Then at the beginning of August, Julian and I are going to Germany to spend a week there in his parents' house.

That's all about the things I am going to do before I head back to Hong Kong to start the exciting last year (fnally) of my study with 8 subjects and 1 thesis to write. I am INDEED looking forward to it. Plus the project that I am going to work on with research papers, I will have no life in HK- m' gettting excited.

Oh, by the way, I knew not long ago that I got a 4 for my GPA. I am grateful.

And... with 2 monthes in Spanish and the following month in German, I reckon my English is saying adios to me. Better get some exercises to work on my English.

Have a nice weekend everyone.

A couple more days before I am departing. I have made up my mind to write here again as you know... I just doscivered today that I need to do a journal for my internship! What a fun piece of work plus I think being a responsible daughter, this is the only available and inexpensive channel to keep my Mummy updated with my day-to-day life whist I am away from home. So, here you are... my ordinary day.

Very early in the morning indeed I was waken by a call from the loan granting department of the Hong Kong government saying that I did not submit completely of the information that they need to precess my application. So, a fussy day begins. Gathering the info and copying... fun fun fun. Then I hurried back to Uni to attend the ultra boring pre-internship training session which was complete bullshit. It took me 4 whole bloody hours to listen to that lady. I went to collect some supermarket vouchers for my Mum during the break. They are crucial vouchers as mum is asking about that almost every day! :) After that, I again went copying and typing out some documents; oh, and bought my German teacher a card and a box of chocolate as tomorrow will be my last German lesson with this cute Chinese-speaking German teacher. I ended up here.

Things to do before I go:

1. Change currency (The bank gave me broken piece of 100 euros notes today and I rejected them)

2. Shopping:

Julian's belated birthday present- a XXX it will be (shu! Don't tell him... )

Bikini!!!! I desperately need them for my beach-loving life in Madrid (not that there is any beach in Madrid actuallly)

Some tops and pants... (I have not done any propoer clothes-shopping since I am back... I am depending on my sister at the moment)

A portable drive for my laptop

3. Tiny operation on my right ear on Monday morning at 1010

4. Collect my certfication for my Mandarin exam

5. Lunch with my uncle and his family on Sunday

.... more to come but I could not remember...

20 hours before the freaking practical exam for the cooking class.

1 day before the deadlines for 2 annoying research projects.

2 days before my grandma's birthday dinner.

11 days before the first written exam.

21 days before the last written exam.

28 days before I can see you: JULIB

If everything turns out alright, I am going to work for Novotel madrid starting from mid-May till the end of July. Afterwards I will have a whole month holiday! Yoho!

Nothing will come for luck. We need to strive while God always has His plan. Thank God.

Picking up my pace... slowly yet it's on the way

After coming back for quite a while I finally realise life moves on no matter where I am and what I am pursueing. There is no perfection in this world which actually makes life more beautiful. Every thought sinks in and I understand that I have never lost anything, and I should not be afraid that I will be losing you one day. Because no one can predict and no one can get away from the future ahead. Mates, always look for the goods and be concious when we are in the down where we will not forever stay there. Life is indeed very beautiful.

Easter holiday. Didn't really fully utilise this loooong vacation. Got told on Monday that I was going to have 8 day-holiday. Decided to go back to Madrid. I picked up my backpak went to the airport and got told that the ticket (one way, economy) would cost me 700 euros. Headed back home with disappointment of mine together with that of Juli. But then May is not far, is it? So we shall wait. Then I spent Tuesday doing NOTHING at home except having watched 2 movies on my own. School on Wednesday , nothing was special. Worked uptil real late on Wednesday night and went to school again early next day at 8. Got a little fight with Julian on the phone that morning but I decided I will keep loving him .Thursday went by and there was Friday. Could not remember what I did. And on Saturday I went to a movie with Clare in the early afternoon , did a bit of shopping and met up with Steph at TST for dinner in a German restaurant. I really like there. It reminds me a lot of the time i spent with Juli in Hannover. We planned to have a drink afterwards but then Clare was having a terrible headache so Steph and I walked her to the metro and we went a bit more of shopping before getting home thought we shopped for nothing basically. Always I thought the distance doesn;t count. If we are good friends, we just clicked on any time when we meet again. It may be the reality but I know time will cure. Anyway, I still really like Steph (oh, okay not in that way). That reminds me that I should treasure more  the friends that I already have who I really love and care about them all. And now is Sunday already the second last day of my supposingly long holiday. I am working a bit on my assignment and need to go to work at 4 this afternoon. Have a nice remaining holiday everyone. May God bless you and keep you.
